  Great experience!! Someone met us at the house and walked us through everything and even showed us around town. Location was great. It was quiet and very close to the beach. It was nice to hang out on the the deck upstairs. The Pool was nice to cool down. Clothes washer was really handy too. It was a very spacious house and we had plenty of room for a family of 5. Chelem is a little ways out of town so it was good to have a car--not sure how accessible it is from public transportation. It was easy to do day trips to Uxmal, Celestun and Merida as well as to drive into Progreso for bigger shopping. We are already planning our next stay!

  Casa kaana was exactly as described, and served as a nice home away from home for our family. Our kids loved the pool. The house had everything we needed for the week. We enjoyed meeting the ex pats in chelem, especially at ricos and el bull pen. Chelem gave us a glimpse of life in a Mexican beach village.

  Casa Kaana was a wonderful experience for me and my family. The house is clean, spacious, comfortable, cozy, and it has everything that you need to spend a relaxing, peaceful and nice vacation. The terrace view is amazing, the neighborhood really peaceful. Perfect size swimming pool. It is really near to downtown Chelem where you can find local grocery stores and restaurants. I want to especially thank Joan M. the house manager who was always so nice, professional, helpful and made us feel so welcomed. I have spent many vacations in Chelem, and by far this has been my favorite. Thanks Casa Kaana, Dina and Joan for such a fabulous vacation. We spent 2 wonderful weekends, and we are looking forward our next trip to your home. Many thanks.

  Wonderful house near the beach. Spacious, clean, great little pool. The property manager Joan was quick to respond and helped out whenever needed. We stayed here two months and would definitely book again.

  Excellent home with all north american comfort. Very large rooms with good ventilation everywhere. Quiet location except of course during semana santa & pascua which was expected.

  This is the third time that my family and I stay at Casa Kaana, and we really can’t wait to come back soon. I know the area very well, and I haven’t seen as many homes in the area as Casa Kaana. The location is great. Not only a few steps away from the beautiful Chelem beach with crystal clear waters, but also very near to the convenience store, market and downtown. The recent remodeling through the house made this home even prettier, more spacious, comfortable and useful than before (as I already mentioned this is our third time there since 2015). My children love the swimming pool and the beautiful backyard. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and surrounded by friendly neighbors. The house manager (Joan) is so professional and helpful, always eager to help and advice you in anything that you might need. She is by far one of the best host/managers that we have had (we’ve been in many Airbnb homes throughout the years). Dina (the owner) is so good to reply to you. We can’t wait to come back to Casa Kaana. It is truly our home away from home! Thank you Dina!

  Nice spacious residence with all you need whether staying put or exploring. The bikes made getting around Chelem and the area a memorable experience. Nice interior space for family activities as well. Would stay again without hesitation.

  A good value in an interesting area. This house has relatively large living spaces, especially the bedrooms. It would have been nice if the second bedroom had AC as well. The pool and backyard area is fantastic! The house secures very well and we went out frequently and never worried. All in all a good deal for a nice house! :-)

  Casa Kaana is a great house with easy access to the beach. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. The pool area is very spacious as well with chairs and towels, outdoor kitchen and sitting area. Dina and Yucatan Vacations were very helpful. nice walk to town center. August weekends were very busy, was quiet during the week.

  La casa es muy grande, limpia, muy bien organizada. Joan, la host, es muy amable y siempre está al pendiente de todo. El problema principal fue el agua del pozo que era muy sucia por falta de mantenimiento. Esperemos que arreglen este problema porque la casa es verdaderamente bonita a pesar que en este periodo no hay mucha playa para bañarte.
