Description

A beautiful two-story beachfront house surrounded by an endemic garden

The main living area, located on the ground floor, features a living room with satellite TV, a dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The house comes fully equipped.

The three bedrooms located upstairs all have air conditioning. The master has a king size bed, a walk-in closet and a bathroom. It opens to a beach facing balcony through sliding glass doors. The other two bedrooms each have a double bed and share a full bathroom.

A covered terrace runs along the beachfront side of the house and leads to the pool. The landscape on this property is quite lovely with swaying palm trees and lovely plants typical of the region.

The house is located in Uaymitum which is 40 minutes from Merida, 10 from Progreso and 5 from Chicxulub. Uaymitun boast the most beautiful beach in the area. It is very wide and excellent for long walks.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the ideal place for a holiday by the sea.

The caretaker lives on the premises and he can assist you with anything you might need. He also does the housekeeping once a week (which is included in the rental fee).

The house can accommodate up to 6 guests.

    The house was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing beach vacation. The beach is just on the other side of the foliage in the pictures, and perfect for swimming and long, long walks. Everything we needed was in the house (from basic kitchen supplies to plenty of towels). New fridge w/ icemaker was a bonus. The pool was lovely and we used it more than we expected, as it was nice to cool off and sit around in the shade of the palm trees or on the outdoor terrace (ceiling fans on) in the middle of hot & humid days! Also important: beds were comfortable & bedrooms air conditioned, so we slept well every night. Pamela at Yucatan Vacations was helpful and responded promptly to questions. Please do read the "terms & conditions" carefully (they will send to you) as there is a cash deposit required when you arrive, and you do have to pay for electricity if you use over a certain amount each week (this cost us about $7 USD for 3 of us for a 10-day stay). We had no problems and got our deposit back the day before we left. Also, be aware that storms can knock out the Internet, which happened to us -- YV worked with us on a solution. All in all, we would stay here again and recommend to others, especially during off season.
