Mare Lindo is an antique casona fully remodelled from the gut and upgraded to host 3 independent studios. After a few years of managing vacation rentals in Progreso area, Mare Lindo is our first own project by YV. We took in consideration all the dos and donts in preparing a home for hosting vacation rentals.
Some of the features you will surely appreciate from the photos, but some others more discrete will make your stay here a pleasant one.

The space

Large studio of over 470 square feet. Separate bedroom. Open concept with a spacious kitchen & bathroom as they were the original ones in the casona. It has a king bed.

Some of the features in each studio:
- fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, water dispenser, fridge, coffee maker.
- keyless entry, alarm system & safe.
- steady and strong wifi re-routed to each unit.
- 43 inch Smart TV.
- Hot water on demand & pressurized water.
- Exterior terrace & seating area for private use. Be sure to try the hammock on the terrace... It is our definite favorite spot!

Guest access

Mare Lindo is in a priviledged location, it sits in a residential neighbourhood, mix of expats and locals, a few blocks east of the Malecon, Progresos iconic boardwalk. And yes! Just a block from shore :)
Laundry a couple blocks away. Many restaurants and drugstores that would deliver to your door.

    Die Unterkunft von Sylvia ist sehr modern und großzügig geschnitten. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Kommunikation lief super, alles war sehr sauber. In der Küche fand man von Korkenzieher bis zum Biergläser alles was man braucht. Strand ist auch sehr nah. Gerne wieder

    It s a great little place stay near the beach and malecon. We loved our visit and met some awesome people while there. We especially enjoyed visiting the nearby dog sanctuary.

    Excelente lugar. Todo esta nuevo, con paredes anchas y muebles robustos. Cama gigante. El techo es alto. Mini split nuevo. Cocina impecable. El diseño del lugar da paz. Esta a varias cuadras de la zona de playa pero el lugar es mas bonito y cómodo que cualquiera que puedas encontrar por allá que son principalmente casas viejas. Yo lleve una patineta entonces ir a la playa era rapidísimo. Si no tienes transporte tipo bicicleta o algo si vas a tener que caminar un rato para llegar a la zona de playa bonita que realmente empieza donde comienza el malecón de playa progreso (revisen distancias en el mapa.)

    Me encantó este lugar. Son muy amables y están pendientes de los detalles. Esta muy cerca de la playa. Es muy a gusto caminar por ahí. Puedes caminar hasta el malecón, quizás son como 20 minutos. El lugar es como en las fotos, muy cómodo y bonito. 100 % recomendado. Me volvería a quedar ahí. Me gustó mucho la comida de Gingers Jungle Rescue que está a la vuelta.
