Description
A beautiful, bright and spacious house on the Gulf of Mexico that is also very well-equipped. It is located east of Chicxulub and Progreso, on the Yucatan coastal highway, one and a half hour north of Merida.
This beachfront house is immersed into a tranquil and relaxing beachfront environment. The long white sand beach is perfect for beachcombing and walks.The Gulf waters are always warm. The neighborhood is safe and peaceful, and there is an abundance of things to see and do: nearby ruins, great restaurants.
A short drive takes you to the local markets both in Chicxulub and Progreso. You can also drive a little farther to Merida, the glorious capital of the Yucatan, where you will find excellent shopping, restaurants and fabulous sightseeing. The house features four bedrooms: two on the main floor and the other twoon the second floor. Both bedrooms on the second floor are beachfront with a king size bed , ensuite bathroom and AC. The bedrooms on the main floor: one has two twin beds and the other a double bed both with bathrooms and ceiling fans. There is also a covered garage for up to three cars at the back of the house.

La casa es muy amplia y cuenta con espacios muy generosos en las habitaciones y áreas comunes, además tiene una cocina muy bien equipada , pero lo mejor de todo es la limpia y hermosa playa frente a ti!! Muy recomendable !!

Nuestra experiencia en la casa fue maravillosa, es una casa muy amplia, muy iluminada y con muy buena corriente de aire. La casa desde la cochera piensas que es chica pero al entrar se abre en un techo abierto de doble altura lo cual ayuda a la ventilacion e iluminación. Las camas son muy cómodas, la cocina está equipada con todo lo necesario En todo momento estuvimos en contacto por whattsapp con Karen quien fue quien nos recibió super atenta y muy dispuesta a dar sugerencias o asistirnos en lo que necesitamos.

Two families coming from Canada are looking for a home to rent from March 22 - 29 for four adults and five children ranging in age from 8-12. Yaax-Che sound great. We are looking for a home with four bedrooms, a pool, on the beach, internet, safe, close to restaurants. It must be clean and a good size kitchen. If you could please tell us if this home is available as well any other units that might work as well. We stayed at Yax Che New Years week 2012-2013. We called with very short notice (the day before arriving) and were still accommodated without hesitation. The home was clean and spacious with a special Mediterranean beachy feel but was not pretentious- we all felt very much at home. The house was close enough to Merida and other small towns as well as many Mayan cites and cenotes. We had enough to keep us busy with out feeling like we had a hectic holiday. The ocean wasnt clear at this time of year, and virtually all other houses were empty. We would return during high season to see what difference it makes in the atmosphere and the water. All together great beachy property & well taken care of.
